Innate Ideas #1 – Marketing Calendar
October 11, 2010
It’s October. already, which means its time to have your NEXT year’s calendar planned out. I know where did the year go? Your marketing calendar should include all your internal and external marketing events, seminars you will be attending, lectures and talks you will be giving, and holiday and vacation days. For each event, talk, etc… you need to create a time line so that you leave yourself adequate time to assure your event is a success! Also, create goals and rewards for each event, especially the big ones. List out how many NP’s you want to attract and how many guests overall you need to make the event a success. Create a reward system for you and your staff to keep you laser focused. Everyone loves a reward! With a well planned out and thought through marketing calendar you are sure to start the new year off on the right foot!
If you haven’t started yet for next year or have never done a marketing event before then there is no time better than the present to get started. A marketing plan is a necessity to keep the vibration high in the office for the sanity of you, your staff, and your practice members. I always say that the “E” in events is for energy! That’s why I have an event driven practice. I absolutely love the energy created around events…you will too! Remember, even a small event can have a big out come. It all depends on what you put in which is a direct correlation to what you get out.
If you have created your marketing calendar…awesome! Now spice it up this year and add something new and crazy to each quarter to spice it up! Remember, you and only you create the practice of your dreams! You only live one life, make it the best ever!
Enjoy this Innate Idea! I look forward to sharing from the sketch pad in my head. We are all in this together.
